Arranging a Visit

Choosing a secondary school for your child is an important decision. We want to make that decision as easy as possible and support you every step of the way.

We are always happy to welcome prospective parents and students. We hold a very popular open evening event in October each year but are also happy to arrange individual visits. Please email office@sheringhamhigh.org.uk if you would like to come and see our school in action.

Transferring from Primary

Moving onto High School (Year 7 2026)

A warm welcome from all of us here at Sheringham High School. This page is designed to help you prepare your child for Year 7. We hope to cover everything you will need to know, however, if you do have any concerns, queries or worries, then you will find contact details below.

Our Transition Co-ordinator, Kerry Smith, visits feeder schools in the summer term to meet your children, let them know what to expect and to answer any questions they may have. You should have received a letter from the Head Teacher, Dawn Hollidge from your Primary School about our Open Evening on Thursday 2nd October 2025.
